1. How did you run your counselling practice before Colib?
Well, I had no way to generate invoices or receipts, I did everything manually. I used a calendar app attached to my email for scheduling, which worked okay. I didn’t have anything else actually, no reminders.

2. What has instantly changed when you started using Colib?
I’ve seen a dramatic difference in invoicing and sending receipts. Now, it’s easy. In just one click I can send them. Scheduling clients is better and faster with the online booking system. Clients can also easily fill consent forms, which was a challenge before with online signatures.

" I expected to do everything five times faster, but it ended up being a 1-to-10 time gain! "

3. How much time does Colib save you?
When I first used Colib, I thought it would be more efficient than what I had before, but I didn’t expect time savings to be that great. It was a positive surprise for me. I expected to do everything five times faster, but it ended up being a 1-to-10 time gain!

4. How much effort would you say was required to set up Colib?
There was a bit of effort involved in getting set up with Colib, mainly around transferring client information and getting the forms and appointment types all set up. But once that was done the time savings were pretty dramatic.

5. Would you say Colib helped you retain patients, or even attract new ones?
It definitely helped my practice look more professional, more official, and helped build trust with my clients.

" The amount of no-shows was significantly reduced, to about one-third the amount it used to be. "

6. What do your patients like the most about Colib?
They really like to receive the reminders before therapy sessions. For some clients, data privacy is really important. They don’t have to worry anymore since the data is securely stored in a server in Canada, and it is PIPEDA compliant. The mobile friendliness is great too.

7. Can you name the most significant gains you noticed?
With the automated reminders, the amount of no-shows was significantly reduced, to about one third the amount it used to be. I also tripled my client load since the start, and that would have been very hard to manage without Colib.
-
8. We know therapy notes can sometimes become tedious, how do you manage them?
During my sessions, I usually take handwritten notes that I use as guidelines. After the session, I structure the content of the note and copy it into Colib. These notes are automatically linked to the client, and it is very simple to access them.

9. How do you feel about using Colib on a mobile or tablet?
It has been very useful. I sometimes do “Walk and Talk” sessions in the community, and I use my phone to do pretty much anything when I’m out. Sending invoices and receipts remain very easy with the autofill. I can just touch the button to send them.
Colib allows you to take pictures of handwritten notes and upload them directly to the patient file.
