Pediatric Occupational Therapy | York Region Ontario, Canada

Welcome to Alyssa Ament Occupational Therapy Services! I provide evidence-based, neuro-affirming occupational therapy to help children and teens increase their independence and gain confidence in every day activities. My approach is centred on functional goals, engagement, and various clinical techniques grounded in advanced pediatric training to support diverse developmental needs.

I currently offer both In-Home (1:1) OT services as well as Pickle Pals/Hoop Pals sports based programming. See Below for more information:

Featured Program: Pickle Pals/Hoop Pals

Pickle Pals and Hoop Pals are sports based programs where clinical OT goals meet the fun of pickleball and basketball!

  • Focus: Motor planning, bilateral coordination, gross motor development and social skills.
  • Structure: OT-designed "quests" that keep kids motivated and moving.
  • OAP Friendly: All programs are structured to align with Ontario Autism Program requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do sessions take place? I provide In-Home Services and In-Community Services (such as local parks, grocery stores, or courts for Pickle Pals). This allows children to build skills in the environment where they actually use them! I do not currently offer a clinic-based location.

How much does the program cost? To best meet your child’s specific needs, I offer various service formats- ranging from direct OT intervention to assistant-led sessions with clinical oversight. Because pricing depends on the structure of the program selected, please reach out to me directly for a detailed pricing guide.

How do I book? If you are a new family, please click "request appointment" located at the top of this page.
